Senior Project Manager – NIS2 Compliance Program (Manufacturing)

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a strategic NIS2 compliance program within a global manufacturing organization.

This is a key role that spans the full program lifecycle, covering governance setup, stakeholder management, and executive reporting. The position is structured as an individual contributor role – meaning you will not have a team of project managers reporting to you, but instead be responsible for coordinating and influencing across a wide range of stakeholders and functions.

The program is in an early phase, with no set governance yet established, so the right candidate must be capable of defining and implementing clear structures and reporting mechanisms from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and drive the NIS2 compliance program with strong governance and transparent reporting structures

• Set up and facilitate SteerCo and other governance forums

• Coordinate efforts across multiple sites, regions, and business units

• Manage communication with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership

• Ensure alignment across organizational units and business functions

• Oversee compliance activities in line with relevant standards (ISO, CIS18, NIST2)

Profile

• Solid experience as a Senior Project Manager leading complex, cross-functional programs in large organizations

• Proven track record of delivering complex programs across multiple sites, regions, or business units

• Very structured approach, with strong governance and reporting discipline

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills – able to communicate with credibility and clarity to all levels, including C-suite executives

• Experience within the manufacturing industry is a strong advantage

• Prior NIS2 or cybersecurity implementation experience is ideal but not essential
