Project Description:
Assignment description
For our client we are looking for an experienced Infrastructure/IT Architect.
The consultant is to lead and drive documentation and implementation activities in the Cloud Foundation Programme's Reference Architecture track. The candidate will become part of an existing programme and collaborate with senior infrastructure architect and senior security architect on deliverables.
Specific tasks and output:
• Identify and document most common 8 -10 public cloud use cases with Line of Business
1. Describe and document Generic Reference Architecture(s) for public cloud (Drawings and text using Visio, PP and Word), e.g. “Web application with no Internet access”, “Web application with Internet access”, “Cloud archival storage for on premise application”, “Cloud virtual network connected to internet client network”, “I would like to establish an automated process to read a named API and deliver the result to a database”
• Describe and document Solution Specific Architectures (AWS and Azure)
• Create customer friendly architectural guidance (documents / PowerPoint) to be published on Cloud SharePoint Site (target group – Line of Business)
• Help structure and populate central repository for architectural documentation
Required competencies:
• Proven IT- or infrastructure Architectural experience (min. 2 years)
• Experience with establishing and documenting Reference Architecture
• Experience with Public Cloud
• Great writing and communication skills (English)
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to link high-level architectures to specifics
• Preferably TOGAF certified
• Preferably experience with agile ways of working (SAFe)
