Project Description: Tasks: - Drive the process to create a framework for application rationalization of the companys application portfolio (they have more than 800 applications, big and small, and are still counting). The framework must be flexible and scalable with different approaches to match the various types of applications and supported capabilities (some are on enterprise level, some are on local engineering or back-office level) - On basis of the established framework, drive and assist with analysis of specific business domains/capabilities and/or technologies in order to a) ensure the viability of the framework and b) establish decision papers for management teams. The consultant: To be taken into consideration for this assignment, the consultant must have: o substantial experience with building scalable application rationalization frameworks or similar approaches, preferably in a global setting o substantial experience working with driving and overseeing application rationalization, modernization and/or optimization with a substantial complexity in the portfolio and organisation (handling very different types of stakeholders) o solid experience in identifying optimization opportunities across an organisation by standardizing across platforms, increasing efficiency and reducing complexity o an analytical mindset with a strong commercial and financial understanding and are used to analyzing complex data and developing different views/scenarios for decision-making (on senior management level) o strong communication and presentation skills in English, both verbal and written.
