Understand BW Landscape - (1 - 2 days)
- Understand Current BW Landscape
- Understand Current BW applications
Here I would expect to install SAP upgrade assessment programs and use them to perform complete assessment.
Complete Assessment & Present - (3 - 5 Days)
- Develop roadmap and upgrade plans / Timelines (Dev -> Quality -> Production)
- Develop proposal for BW upgrade.
- Analyze findings (Backend & Frontend tools)
- Recommendation for future-Proof solutions.
- Changeability of BW objects during the upgrade
- BW ABAP enhancements
- Authorization management
- BW Pre and Post Upgrade Preparation
- BW Housekeeping
- Identify opportunities to leverage new functionalities
