Project Description:
Description: The purpose of our Back-Up 3rd gen. project is to replace and insource the currently ATEA-outsourced back-up solution. The project is a medium sized project delivering into Ørsted's IT organization and includes migration and the definition of new processes for incident and change handling.
The project started in late 2018 and has recently entered execution phase; unfortunately with a "rough start" and it is currently facing a number of challenges that must be mitigated. There is a need for re-defining a precise scope including measurable success criteria and a complete re-planning of execution until end 2020.
Requirements:
* Solid project management skills
* Change management skills
* Participate and lead the definition of an unambiguous scope definition and subsequent re-planning
* Experience with planning and execution of IT insourcing projects
* Technical PM with minimum 5 years’ of subject matter experience from IT infrastructure projects
* Able to engage in technical discussions on both project and back up-techniques across Steer-Co, vendor and project team
* Excellent stakeholder management skills across IT technicians, suppliers and various management levels in IT
* The vendor ATEA is also to be managed as an important stakeholder.
* Knowledge of infrastructure, databases, applications
* Experience with CDM based back-up technology (Cohesity) or other TSM based back-up technologies
